FAQs
Short, direct answers to help you choose the right path.
- How fast should I progress through a course?
- Most artists thrive at 4–6 hours per week. Our modules include deliberate checkpoints so you can move forward only when the fundamentals hold up.
- What does a critique include?
- You receive annotated notes on gesture, proportion, structure, edges, and value grouping, plus a 1–2 sentence directive for your next study sprint.
- What materials do I need?
- Graphite 2H–6B, vine charcoal, kneaded eraser, smooth newsprint or sketchbook, and a ruler. Digital artists can substitute with a pressure-sensitive tablet.
- Do you offer refunds?
- Yes. If you are unsatisfied within 14 days and completed fewer than 20% of lessons, we offer a full refund. See Terms for details.
- Do courses include certificates?
- Yes. Completion certificates are issued after all assignments and critiques are approved by instructors.
- How long do I have access?
- Lifetime access to recorded content and future updates for the purchased course tier.
- Who are the mentors?
- Our mentors are practicing artists with atelier and production experience. Each critique is performed by humans—never automated.
- Are there prerequisites?
- Beginner courses require none. Intermediate/Advanced tracks may recommend perspective fluency and consistent sketching practice.
